Voice of the Child
We are always looking for feedback from children and young people about the way we work with you so we have designed Voice of the Child questionnaires. Once or twice a year your therapist will ask you to complete a questionnaire so that you can tell us what you think about the therapy service. We like to know what you say so that we can make the service better for you. Here is what we found out when we asked primary school children what they thought about the therapy they got.
89% of the children found their session helpful
83% of the children practice their activities when not with a therapist
59% of the children felt that they could do something that they couldn’t do before
54% of the children knew what they were working on
Because primary school children said that they did not always know what they are working on we ask all our therapists and therapy assistants to wear yellow badges so you can see clearly what their name is and what job they do. The therapist will also explain or show you what they want to do at the beginning of the session so you know what you are working on.
